Girls do better when they stay in school. Menstruation should not keep them out.

Only 12% of menstruating women out of 335 Million Have Adequate Facilities

Purpose & Objectives of the Campaign

The project “365 Days 365 Girls: A Menstrual Health Initiative” is a unique initiative where we intend to empower at least one girl on Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) on a daily basis to take care of herself as well as be the agent of change in her community. The target is to:
  • Create an army of 365 adolescent girl champions who become peer educators on Menstrual Health Management, wherein each agent will be responsible to spread awareness regarding menstrual hygiene to at least 5 girls in her community, through peer-to-peer learning
  • Enhance positive self image about being a girl
  • Improve quality of life of girls
  • Improve hygiene and sanitation factors in community at large
  • Reduce school drop outs and promote women empowerment
